CellPlan is a part of the WideCells Group who are leading a transformation in cord blood banking and stem cell treatment; making cord blood banking more accessible through insurance coverage, and increasingintohe availability of cord blood for transplants.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing marketing department. Working for the marketing manager to produce and work across all marketing activity for CellPlan International. The Digital Marketing Executive will look after the following:

Digital Strategy

  • Define and map personas for all targets and markets from a digital perspective
  • Define KPI’s and ROI for all digital media platforms
  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
  • Propose strategic adjustments based on monthly analytical reports
  • Plan ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Create and execute digital marketing campaign strategies
  • Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
  • Attend product launches and networking events

Monitoring  and reporting :

  • Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  • Weekly, monthly and bi-annual level measurement and reporting to MM of digital marketing efforts and performance using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
  • Market and platform segmented monitoring

Digital Media Coordination

  • Build a relationship with external digital agency
  • Briefing and monitoring of all agency activities
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns with Marketing Executive and Business Development Manager
  • Collaborate with designers and EM to improve user experience
  • Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter
  • Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)
  • Fix any errors or bugs in online content
  • Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites
  • Arrange testimonials and webcasts with EM
  • Define with email automation flows and write copy for email marketing campaigns. Shared with ME

Digital Advertising

  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.) with Marketing Executive and external agencies
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns with ME
  • Identify community forums and key influencers with a view to run paid advertise and/or endorse CellPlan.
  • Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) Ad management
  • Editorial schedule

CellPlan platforms

  • Provide creative ideas for digital content 
  • Website management – content managing, update content on CMS and monitoring keywords with EM and BDM
  • Liaise with ME and BDM to prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
  • Responsible for the integration of external and internal platforms between them (CRM, website, Quote and buy, Mail chimp etc)
  • Monitor and update a media planner for the blog. Create content for the blog.

Social media

  • Strategy - create and implement a digital marketing strategy for social media ensuring measurable KPI and ROI for all metrics.
  • Create and post social media posts and stories (Instagram, twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, in future YouTube Pinterest, snapchat etc) regularly as per planned –using Hootsuite- or spontaneously (no less than once a day)

 Following activity

  • Identify, plan and coordinate using demographic segmentation who to follow on CellPlan social media on a weekly basis
  • build a relationship with the ones that follow
  • Delete the ones that don’t follow CellPlan social media
  • Monitor success
  • Set up, monitor and update a social media calendar (key dates celebrated, annual key events to follow etc)
  • Set up, monitor and update a media planner (HootSuite)
  • Identify key hashtag and handles and use them appropriately

This is a full-time role based in Porto and will require participation in events etc. outside of normal working hours.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

To achieve all sales targets and objectives as agreed in your region
To assist in achieving the national target for the company
To achieve significant market penetration and visibility for the WideCells range of blood banking and stem cell treatments
To maintain the companies targeted margin performance
To assist in the development of sales plans for your region and present these at sales meetings and to the Head of Business for approval/acceptance
To implement the stem cells treatment business plan with suggested recommend improvements where necessary to achieve our main short term and our long term objectives
To participate in the effective positioning of the Company which on occasion may involve some overseas travel and meeting with suppliers
To maintain confidentiality regarding company and personnel issues.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

A Level standard or equivalent is essential, a degree in a science subject is desirable.
Minimum 1 year experience in a sales role, ideally in a healthcare related industry.
Previous accountability for making commercial decisions.
Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills.
Current and Clean Driving License
Demonstrated leadership of tasks and projects in previous working history.

The ideal candidate will live and breathe digital marketing We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. You will be working across all marketing team in all division to create and implement the digital marketing strategy. You will have experience in liaising with, and managing external Digital Agencies to ensure campaigns fulfilment when required. You will also have a good eye for detail and the ability to work on their own and to tight deadlines.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • A strong track record of operating website content management systems with a sound knowledge across the areas of web coding and search engine optimization.
