CellPlan is the first global insurance product to specialise in stem cell treatment. It is our mission to make cutting-edge healthcare accessible and affordable to families.
Cellplan is part of WideCells group. WideCells Group are leading a transformation in cord blood banking and stem cell treatment; making cord blood banking more accessible through insurance coverage, and increasing the availability of cord blood for transplants. The group currently operates in a number of countries and has an aggressive geographic expansion plan for 2018.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented, experienced and driven Marketing Manager to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who can provide both strategic leadership and tactical delivery: setting the strategic agenda, planning, implementing and reviewing activities to tight deadlines.
This is a fulltime role that will be based in Porto. It will require participation with events etc. outside of normal hours and will require international travel on a relatively frequent basis - likely at least once or sometimes more per month.
Developing and implementing strategic and tactical multi-channel marketing plans that maximise the acquisition, retention and lifetime value of prospective and converted customers.
Developing and maintaining a clear understanding of our customers across B2C, B2B and B2B2C distribution channels. This will include reviewing and further development of personas, segmentations, application of these to our messaging, marketing strategies and product developments.
Organisation design for the marketing team – taking strategic decisions on how we deliver marketing to a business that is rapidly expanding geographically; centrally, in-country, via third party partners and suppliers.
Supplier management - ongoing selection and management of external agencies, including briefing, project management and budgetary control.
Technology selection & management – ownership of our ecommerce platform, CRM platform and all tools and software solutions used to drive engagement and conversion.
Budget management - creation and ongoing management of the marketing budget in-line with the needs of an ambitious and entrepreneurial business.
Team management - ongoing motivation and management of the marketing team. There are currently two roles that will report to you. A marketing exec (brand, offline, PR, events, etc) and a digital marketing exec (social, SEO/PPC, website & ecommerce analytics). Note that the digital marketing exec role is a new role and that recruitment is happening at the moment.
Inspiring and educating the team – sharing a passion for about connecting with customers, understanding their needs and finding the best ways to catch their attention and meet their needs.
Demonstrable experience in a broadly similar role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strong numerical and analytical skills - budgeting, RoI measurement and management across online and offline marketing channels
Strong problem-solving abilities and a clear interest in technology as a driver of scale, efficiency and effectiveness.
Creative flair - a passion and curiosity for engaging customers through creative content.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines. Ideally with prior experience of managing an ecommerce platform or building digital applications.
NON-NEGOTIABLE HIRING CRITERIA
Relevant professional qualification - or demonstrable equivalent experience.
Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
Experience of selection, implementation and optimisation of marketing technologies, specifically CRM.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
Competency in both Mac and PC operating systems.
