WideCells Group is leading a transformation in cord blood banking and stem cell treatment; making cord blood banking more accessible through insurance coverage, and increasing the availability of cord blood for transplants.

As a Sales Exec for WideCells Ltd, you will be responsible for the efforts and results of the Sales territory allocated: Reporting to the COO and targeted with driving sales growth. This is a full-time role to effectively sell the WideCells range of blood banking and stem cell treatments and to achieve targeted unit sales and average selling prices

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and to provide sales forecasts on a rolling three-month basis
  • To ensure the implementation of sales and marketing plans and campaigns
  • Report to the sales management with timely and accurate sales information
  • Assist sales management in presenting reports to senior executives.
  • Aid the preparation of the budget and sales forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly sales statements
  • Support month-end and year-end close process

Core Duties

  • To adopt and adhere to the sales plan and targets as directed by sales management
  • To promote aggressive sales targets and manage the delivery of goals
  • Liaise with marketing teams to ensure a coherent approach to market and target sales activities
  • To provide input to marketing teams to give feedback on results to the marketing team

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Sales experience in the Cord Blood Banking, Stem Cells or associated Biologics industries;
  • Suitable scientific experience and knowledge to fulfil the role
  • Several years of experience in a Biotech or High-tech SME environment and proven working experience as a Sales Executive
  • High skill levels in presenting and communicating both written and verbal;

Due to the ongoing growth of the business, they are looking for a Head of Business to lead and grow their sales team based out of Manchester.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre professional looking to play a major role in the profitability, success and future direction of WideCells’ Ltd UK and international business. Leading and managing sales across the business unit, the individual will have responsibility for the creation and delivery of local sales strategies and campaigns, whilst monitoring costs, profitability, order intake and forecasts. The role includes management of the WideCells sales team, aligning skills and development alongside the product portfolio and market need. As a senior member of the UK and International management team, the individual will be involved and have input into the day-day running of the business unit.

This is a full-time role based at the University of Manchester Innovation Centre.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and sales forecasts.
  • To ensure the implementation of sales and marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Report to the COO with timely and accurate sales information.
  • Assist the COO in presenting reports to senior executives’ stakeholders and board members.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and sales forecasts/plans and report variances.
  • Support month-end and year-end process
  • Ensure quality control over sales transactions and sales reporting
  • Develop and documents business processes and sales policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Core Duties

  • To search for agents internationally, enter contracts and drive the implementation and management of the relationships to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Supervise and manage sales department staff, this will be our own team in the UK and other countries.
  • Motivate and lead sales team members by directing actions, defining roles and providing meaningful feedback.
  • To promote aggressive sales targets and manage the delivery of goals
  • Liaise with marketing teams to ensure a coherent approach to market and target sales activities.
